actually the D80 is not mine. it belongs to someone else but i get the chance to use for awhile. I think ur lens need a calibration since u`ve been using it quite often. so it need to be calibrated again so it`ll be as good as the factory-released condition. Or, the dust, or microsize grain has got into the internal part of the lens so it produced sounds when the lens started to rotate for auto-focusing. i guess so. next time beli filter lah...ehehe Tue 13-Feb-2007 16:58

oww actually i attend class belly dancing twice a week n dia ada 3 level....basic,intermediate and advanced. Baru habis basic nak p intermediate lak tapi kelas ni tertutup cuma orang yang berwatakan fizikalnya perempuan je boleh join class ni. Lelaki tak dibenarkan masuk, tu pasal perempuan yang belatih kat situ berpakaian macam dalam gambar tu ar.It's just fun n i love all the steps,costumes and enjoy la sambil exercise.Ends of this year tak salah ada show then penari2 dari egypt,turki,uk ada gak turun sini kat KEDAH(jangan tak caya lak) so kitorang sama-sama menari dengan diorang yg pakar kat satu tempat yang semua pompuan even yang serve kat situ pun pompuan jugak.Malam ni ada belly start pukul 8pm kat studio ok cau cin cau... sekarang ni saya sedang hasilkan satu alat bantu mengajar. saya akan membuat peta topografi 3 dimensi. sangat menarik gambar yang awak tunjukkan ini. boleh tak saya minta tolong dari awak untuk tunjukkan satu contoh bagaimana untuk tukarkan peta topografi menjadi satu model yang menyerupai realiti. hmm the main purpose of our work is to develope a new technique to measure contact heat transfer during collision of two particles. we used the physical property of meterial such as the surface roughnesss and external contact load both in static & dynamic contact condition to establish empirical correlation which can be used in discrete simulation. so here we only deal with heat transfer but when it comes to surface profile, topography, we must consider it from the view of tribology field. one thing to share is for eliptical surface or spherical surface case i.e, the non-conforming rough surface, contact resistance decrease as surface roughness increase. this lead to the increase in thermal conductivity which in general case, they are totally opposite for flat surface. i can write this for hours...hehe...i`ll email you the technical report later. Here is some abstract on Effect of surface roughness, particle size and solids fraction during Granular collisional lubrication from a study by YU C.-M. (1) ; TICHY J. (1) ;

The flow of granules has been proposed as a mechanism of lubrication suitable for high-temperature applications. This study is primarily experimental with a simplified theory presented for interpreting the data. Experiments are conducted in an annular shear cell at very high concentration where the major force contribution is due to particle collisions. Normal and shear stress as a function of solids fraction with different drive surface roughness and particle size are studied. The experimental data show that the stresses increase and friction coefficients decrease with increasing solids fraction. A rough drive surface tends to increase the magnitude of the stresses compared with its smooth counterpart. Large particles carry more stress than small ones, and the existence of the lubrication wedge effect caused by three sloping regions is confirmed. Theoretical predictions are compared with experimental results for the case of flat surfaces and reasonable agreement is found.
